Exeloo Self-Cleaning Restroom
In late 2003, Metro installed the first public restroom in their stations at Huntington. This restroom is manufactured by New Zealand-based Exeloo, and is fully-automated and self-cleaning. Metro ultimately opted not to add any more self-cleaning restrooms such as this to its other stations, opting instead to make the restrooms in service corridors that had previously been designated for employee use only available to customers upon request.
